Safe Operating & Maintenance Guidelines
Safety Notice: Internal combustion engines produce toxic carbon monoxide gas. Operate outdoors only in well-ventilated areas, positioned well away from windows, doors, and building air intakes. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including ear protection and safety glasses.
Outdoor Placement: Position the generator on a flat, level surface outdoors with at least 1.5 meters of clearance from buildings or flammable materials.
Fluid Checks: Inspect engine oil levels (1.1L capacity) and fill the 6.5-litre fuel tank with fresh unleaded petrol before startup. Never refuel while the engine is running or hot.
Manual Startup: Turn the fuel valve on, set the engine choke lever, pull the recoil starter cord firmly to start the Honda engine, and gradually disengage the choke once running smoothly.
Electrical Load Connection: Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before connecting tools or appliances. Do not overload the generator's 6 kVA capacity.
Shutdown Sequence: Disconnect all connected electrical loads, allow the engine to idle for 2 minutes to cool down, and turn the fuel valve/engine switch to the "OFF" position.
