'Company' refers to Basma Trading (Pty) Ltd. 'Goods' includes shipping containers, construction materials, commercial and industrial equipment. 'Services' includes hire, modification, and custom work.
3. Scope of Services
Basma Trading provides sales, rentals, and modifications of shipping containers, construction supplies, commercial and industrial machinery. We cater to commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
4. Pricing, Quotes & Taxes
All prices are subject to VAT unless stated otherwise. Quotes are valid for a specified period and may change based on material costs or availability. Final pricing is confirmed at order placement.
5. Orders, Payment & Invoicing
Orders are confirmed upon receipt of payment or a valid purchase order. Invoices are issued electronically. Payment terms for accounts are subject to separate credit approval.
6. Shipping, Delivery & Collection
Delivery dates are estimates. The customer must ensure site accessibility and safety for heavy equipment. Risk passes to the customer upon delivery or collection from our depots.
7. Hire / Rental Terms
Rental items must be returned in their original condition, excluding fair wear and tear. Customers are responsible for maintenance and insurance of hire units during the rental period.
8. Modifications & Custom Work
Custom container modifications are executed based on signed-off technical drawings. Variations requested after production has started will incur additional costs and lead times.

15. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts serving Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.
