Storage & Safe Handling Guidelines
Safety Notice: Dry cement powder reacts exothermically with water to form a strongly alkaline solution. Avoid dust inhalation and direct skin/eye contact. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, a dust mask, heavy-duty waterproof gloves, and steel-toe work boots during handling and mixing.
Storage Environment: Store unopened bags off the ground on raised wooden pallets inside a dry, covered, and well-ventilated enclosure.
Moisture Protection: Keep bags protected from direct rain, rising damp, and contact with damp concrete floors or uninsulated walls.
Safe Lifting Practice: Keep your back straight and lift using your legs when handling 50kg bags to avoid muscle strain.
First Aid Precaution: In case of eye or skin contact with dry powder or wet mortar, wash immediately with generous amounts of clean running water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
