Safe Operating & Maintenance Guidelines
Safety Notice: Operating engine-driven masonry mixers presents mechanical pinch and exhaust hazards. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety goggles, dust masks, ear protection, protective gloves, and steel-toe boots.
Site Setup: Position the mixer on a firm, level surface and chock the wheels securely to prevent movement during operation.
Pre-Start Checks: Inspect engine oil and petrol levels. Ensure the protective engine cage and shaft guards are locked in position.
Engine Startup: Turn on the fuel valve, set the choke lever, and pull the recoil starter firmly to start the Honda engine. Allow it to warm up at idle before loading.
Loading Sequence: Add water first, followed by masonry cement, lime, and sand while the mixing shaft is actively rotating to prevent paddle binding.
