Safe Operating & Usage Guidelines
Safety Notice: Fire-fighting equipment involves high liquid pressures and operational hazards in critical environments. Always wear appropriate PPE and strictly adhere to safe operating procedures.
Positioning & Stability: Securely mount the unit on a flat bed or park the trailer frame on level ground. Engage all brakes and vehicle locks prior to starting.
Pre-Start Check: Verify engine oil and diesel fuel levels. Ensure the suction line is submerged in clean water or securely connected to the supply tank.
Engine Priming & Start: Open the water intake valve, set the engine choke/throttle according to starting instructions, and engage the electric start.
Pressure Adjustment: Adjust the pressure bypass valve to the required operating level before opening the hose nozzle line.
Operation: Unreel the high-pressure hose, select the appropriate nozzle spray pattern (jet stream for distance or fog mist for smothering), and direct water at the base of the fire.
Post-Operation & Shutdown: Reduce engine speed to idle, shut off the ignition switch, open the bypass valve to relieve line pressure, drain remaining water to prevent frost damage, and neatly rewind the hose reel.
