Storage & Safe Handling Guidelines
Safety Notice: Dry cement powder reacts exothermically with moisture to form a strong alkaline solution. Avoid inhalation of dust and direct skin/eye contact. Always wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, a dust mask, heavy-duty waterproof gloves, and protective steel-toe footwear during handling and mixing.
Storage Setup: Keep unopened bags stored off the damp ground on raised wooden pallets inside a dry, covered, and well-ventilated enclosure.
Moisture Protection: Protect bags against direct rain, rising damp, or contact with uninsulated concrete walls and ground surfaces.
Safe Lifting Practice: Keep your back straight and lift using your legs to prevent strain when lifting or moving 50kg bags.
First Aid Precaution: In case of eye or skin contact with dry powder or wet mortar, rinse immediately with clean running water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical advice if irritation continues.
